Sight Care Foundation is a Public Charitable Trust working towards eliminating needless blindness caused due to Refractive Errors and Presbyopia. We have a mission of providing Refractive Error solution to two million people by 2025. To achieve our mission, we are regularly conducting non-invasive eye camps in various places and corporate sectors.
We are a Team of Optometrists, headed by Mr. S. Sivakumar , Founder Trustee of Sight Care Foundation. He holds a Diploma in optometry from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Chennai. In addition, he is one of the successful alumni of CSIM and Aravind Eye Care Systems. S. Sivakumar has more than 25 years of experience in this field.
We have advanced refraction camp equipment’s including Auto refractometer, Trial box, JCC and colour vision charts. We dispense power corrected glasses immediately at the camp site. On an average, we reach out to 100 persons per camp per day. These non-invasive procedures address only the refractive error and Presbyopia need.

About
About the Founder
S. Sivakumar has more than 25 years of experience in this field. His fascination is towards conducting grassroots level outreach eye camps and has trained more than 345 young boys and girls from Base of the Pyramid categories. Most of the trained students have got a lucrative employment in various optical outlets, eye hospitals and some of them have even started their own optical shops.
In his passion for development of Sustainable Primary Eye Care solutions; he has partnered with Government, Private sector, Charity and Corporate groups.
His expertise is in innovative and cost-effective management of primary eye care system and sustainability of charitable activities.
